Head of Artificial Intelligence & Technology

Role Overview:

Techno Consultancy UK Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Artificial Intelligence & Technology to lead the company’s AI strategy, technical architecture, and delivery excellence.

This role will own the end-to-end AI capability development from defining the organisation’s AI vision and technology roadmap to leading solution delivery, client engagement, and team building.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and commercial acumen, enabling the company to scale its AI offerings and drive measurable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology & AI Strategy

• Define AI and technology strategy aligned with business objectives
• Establish a scalable and future ready technology roadmap
• Identify and prioritise high impact AI use cases across industries
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies including GenAI and automation

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Lead AI solution design and development
• Oversee full lifecycle delivery (PoC → Production → Optimization)
• Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
• Establish best practices for architecture, MLOps, and deployment frameworks

Client Engagement & Consulting

• Engage with senior stakeholders and decision makers
• Translate business problems into scalable AI driven solutions
• Support proposals, RFPs, and client presentations
• Act as a trusted advisor on AI and digital transformation initiatives

Technical Leadership

• Establish AI, data, and technology best practices
• Guide architecture decisions across projects
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Define standards for data governance, model performance, and system security

Collaboration & Commercial Alignment

• Work closely with sales and business teams
• Support business growth initiatives through AI-led offerings

Innovation & Thought Leadership

• Contribute to research, insights, and industry perspectives
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies
• Represent the company in thought leadership initiatives, content, and discussions

Team Building

• Build and lead high-performing AI and technology teams
• Mentor, coach, and develop technical talent
• Define team structure, hiring roadmap, and capability development

Technology & Expertise Expectations

• • Strong experience in AI/ML, Data Science, and advanced analytics
  • Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI ecosystems

• Experience with cloud platforms
• Understanding of ML frameworks, MLOps, scalable system design, and deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with data engineering, APIs, and system integrations

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with at least the last 2 years in a similar leadership position
• Strong AI and data expertise
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
• Experience in driving end-to-end AI initiatives

Preferred Experience

• Experience in AI consulting or digital transformation projects
• Exposure to global client environments (UK, US, or similar markets)
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
